Hello Campolindo Neighbors,

We have had a busy summer in Campolinodo and now that school is in full swing, and fall is approaching, we have a few updates and reminders for our neighbors. Highlights of this newsletter include:
  • Open Board roles 
  • Labor Day and Fall Pool updates 
  • Reminder on dues and our CIMS management portal
  • 2027 Board and HOA priorities 
HOA Board of Directors
There are four Board seats up for election, all of which are three-year term critical roles for our Homeowners Association, responsible for prioritizing the needs of our community, and ensuring we maintain safe and compliant operations of our facilities. Serving on the HOA Board is also a great way to connect with neighbors and the community!
 
Candidate nominations are open through Oct 8. If you’re interested, or would like to nominate someone, complete the form found here and return it to the Association Manager, Michelle Ferriera, at mferriera at commoninterest.com. The 2027 Annual Election will be held on January 12, 2027. Open positions include:
  • President
  • Member at Large
  • Streets & Safety
  • Swim Team Liaison
President 
Helps lead the Board and keep HOA priorities, projects, and decisions moving forward. Runs Board meetings and works closely with the management company and other Board members on issues affecting the community. Serves as a central point of coordination when something needs Board attention or follow-up.
 
Member at Large
Serves as a general Board member and helps wherever support is most needed. Participates in Board meetings, discussions, and decisions and may take on special projects or initiatives throughout the year. 
 
Streets & Safety
Takes the lead on neighborhood street, traffic, and safety matters. Works closely with the block captains on Firewise efforts, emergency preparedness, evacuation planning, and other neighborhood safety initiatives. Coordinates with the management company, residents, and local agencies when issues arise.
 
Swim Team Liaison
Acts as the main connection between the HOA Board and the Campolindo Cabana Club Swim Team. Helps coordinate shared issues such as pool use, scheduling, facilities, and other matters that affect both groups. Keeps communication flowing and makes sure relevant Swim Team needs and updates are brought to the Board.
 
Community & Pool Events 
A calendar of events can be found on the CIMS portal as well as on the Campo website. 
Labor Day Pool Party
Join your neighbors for our Labor Day party tradition at the pool from 3-6pm. There will be games, lots of fun for the kids, and the grill will be going! This is a BYO event this year and we hope to see you there! Labor Day hours are: Monday Sept. 7th, 12-8pm. 
 
You can look forward to 3 Carnival areas featuring activities like a dart board toss, ping pong, hair braiding, body tattoos, a basketball contest, biggest splash contest, and a concessions room with snacks and prizes!
 
Pool Season
Pool season has been extended through October 31. Fall pool hours will be:
August hours:
Friday 4-7pm
Sat & Sun 12-7pm

Sept & Oct hours:
Sat & Sun 12-5pm
 
We are thrilled to welcome you to the pool on October 31 to start your Halloween festivities from CCC! This is the perfect place to meet up with friends and families to kickoff trick-or-treat before the pool closes for the season. 
 
 
Facility Updates 
Thanks to the hard work of our Pool Manager, Christina, alongside support from the Board and other vendors, we have continued to make updates and upgrades to the Cabana Club and surrounding community spaces. Updates from this summer include:
  • Recent Maintenance + Upgrades
  • BBQ area cleared 3’ for fire safety
  • Range of lights repaired and replaced
  • Pool heaters and pumps installed and replaced
  • Plaster pop-outs and hardscape deck repairs completed
  • Playground safety surfacing replaced in specific areas 
Upcoming Board Meetings
All Board meetings are hosted on Zoom. Agendas and Zoom information are posted on the CIMS portal and outside the pool. As a reminder, we welcome community members to an Open Forum at the top of our monthly Board meetings and invite you to join as committee members for our initiatives or in future Board roles!

Hello Campolindo Neighbors,

Happy summer! We are in full swing with swim meets, BBQs and potlucks at the pool. Our summer newsletter includes a reminder of upcoming activities including new family events, as well as progress the Board is making across our facility and grounds upgrades and planning for future projects. As a reminder, we welcome community members to an Open Forum at the top of our monthly Board meetings and invite you to join as committee members for our initiatives or in future Board roles! 
 
Community & Pool Events
A calendar of events can be found on the CIMS portal as well as on the Campo website. A few reminders about how to enjoy CCC:
  • Guests Are Welcome at the Pool: Residents may bring guests to the pool. Guests must be signed in, and the $5 guest fee can be paid via Venmo or by cash to the lifeguard on duty.
  • CCC Resident Extended Pool Hours: Residents who have completed pool cover removal training may lap swim and use the property outside regular pool hours. For safety, there must be at least two people present at the pool, and swimmers should use their gate code for access.
  • Planning a Pool Party? The pool can be reserved for parties. Simply download the reservation form from the website and send it to: campocabanaclub at gmail.com
  • Lost and Found: Missing a towel or goggles? Check the lost and found by the gate! Unclaimed items will be donated by Friday, June 19 and every two weeks or so throughout the summer.
Upcoming Events
We are excited to introduce a few new events for the whole community to enjoy. Mark your calendars and join your neighbors at the pool!
  • Family Game Night: Saturday, July 18, 5-7pm
  • Family Trivia Night, Saturday, Aug 22, 5-7pm
Swim Team
All information can be found on the Marlins website. Programs are available for swimmers ages 3–18.
  • Regular season: Is under way
  • OMPA: Wear your orange and cheer on our Marlins July 31-Aug 2 at the SODA center
Reminder: During swim team practices, one lane will remain reserved for lap swimming for community members.

The Board has been working with vendors, CIMS management, and the Town of Moraga on improvements to the Campo Cabana Club and surrounding community spaces. You will continue to see upgrades taking place throughout the year.

Hello Campolindo Neighbors,

Welcome to the first installment of our new quarterly newsletter. Our goal is to share helpful updates, highlight upcoming events, and keep neighbors connected to what’s happening around the Campo Cabana Club and throughout our community.

As we head into spring and the start of another swim season, we’re looking forward to seeing neighbors gather at the pool, community events, and around the neighborhood. This newsletter will be one way we keep everyone informed about community activities, facility updates, and ways to get involved.
 
Newsletter Snapshot
Pool Season is Coming
The pool will have a 'soft' reopening Mon, May 25 for Memorial Day and formally reopens for the season starting May 29. We’re looking forward to another great summer at the Campo Cabana Club.

Memorial Day Picnic, May 25, 12-8pm
Kick off summer with neighbors at the pool. Bring your own picnic and enjoy the afternoon together.

CCC Marlins Swim Team
Registration is open for swimmers ages 3–18. Spring clinics are underway and the regular season begins June 2.
 
Community Improvements
Recent work includes shower repairs, window fixes, and safety upgrades. Additional improvements including furniture, garden upgrades, and drainage work are planned for this year.
 
Did You Know?

Recent Maintenance
  • PG&E is currently underway with the Campolindo Neighborhood Gas System Improvements Project, which includes installation of new gas mains throughout the neighborhood, transferring individual home service laterals to the new infrastructure, and restoring all impacted sidewalks, driveways, landscaping, and roadway surfaces. The work involves potholing, trenching or boring for main and service installation, followed by full restoration including repaving and slurry sealing to provide a consistent roadway finish throughout the project area. The updated completion timeline, including mobilization and all restoration work, is now August 31, 2026. PG&E has shared that the purpose of this work is to improve long-term gas system reliability and provide safer, more consistent service to the community. If residents have any questions or concerns regarding scope, schedule, or impacts, please reach out directly to PG&E’s public outreach representative at M0PZ@pge.com
