by Bradley Ward. Refer to the Balance Sheet posted on www.choa.org. Over Budget was Pool
Maintainence.
- Landscaping Project: The subcommittee met and had
several changes in plant species. The revised plan is due in January 2008
(this is the final plan on the contract). Several other issues are
modification of the grass area behind diving board for drainage, parking
spot in front of pool for 1 car, bench, and cobblestones. This will be a
5-7 year plan for future CHOA board to implement.
- Board Members Authorizing staff duties: The CHOA
salaried staff has a set of duties supervised by the CHOA Board, and the
Board has authority over the staff.
- Swim Team Subcommittee Report: Greg and Irene
met with 2 members of the CCC swim team regarding guest policy. The proposal
is to expand the Guest access to the pool until 4:00pm. The maximum # of
swimmers on the team cannot exceed 150. There will be a laminated Òguest
membershipÓ card issued to all Guests in good standing for identification.
This card will also have a list of the rules on it. Use of the lap pool
will have 1 lane available to homeowners and an additional lane if
necessary. Fee structure proposed as $395 per guest family. Several
comments on this and another suggestion for $200 per swimmer with a $500 max.
Enforcement of the Guest Policy is by the honor system as well as the
lifeguards. Swim team Bylaws to extract the swim team specific issues.
