Campolindo Homeowners Board Meeting

Call to Order at 7:32 p.m.

 

  1. The minutes of the November 12, 2007 meeting were unanimously approved.
  2. The financial and operations report was presented by Bradley Ward. Refer to the Balance Sheet posted on www.choa.org. Over Budget was Pool Maintainence.
  3. Landscaping Project: The subcommittee met and had several changes in plant species. The revised plan is due in January 2008 (this is the final plan on the contract). Several other issues are modification of the grass area behind diving board for drainage, parking spot in front of pool for 1 car, bench, and cobblestones. This will be a 5-7 year plan for future CHOA board to implement.
  4. Board Members Authorizing staff duties: The CHOA salaried staff has a set of duties supervised by the CHOA Board, and the Board has authority over the staff.
  5. Swim Team Subcommittee Report: Greg and Irene met with 2 members of the CCC swim team regarding guest policy. The proposal is to expand the Guest access to the pool until 4:00pm. The maximum # of swimmers on the team cannot exceed 150. There will be a laminated Òguest membershipÓ card issued to all Guests in good standing for identification. This card will also have a list of the rules on it. Use of the lap pool will have 1 lane available to homeowners and an additional lane if necessary. Fee structure proposed as $395 per guest family. Several comments on this and another suggestion for $200 per swimmer with a $500 max. Enforcement of the Guest Policy is by the honor system as well as the lifeguards. Swim team Bylaws to extract the swim team specific issues.

By a motion duly made and seconded, the foregoing individuals were approved as the BoardÕs nominees for election to fill the 2008 CHOA Board vacancies.

  1. New Business: Pricilla Roseburg is asking for Volunteer members of the Moraga community to serve on either the Traffic Safety Advisory or Town Beautification committees.     
  2. Annual Homeowners Meeting scheduled for January 29, 2008 at 7:30-9:00 p.m. at the Campolindo High School.
