Minutes
Bruce
Whitley called the meeting to order at 7:40 pm.
- The
minutes for the May meeting were approved unanimously.
- Financial
and Operations: Brad Ward reported the current financial position in
which most budgets are on track. A number of problems with equipment
were encountered and caused this item to be overspent. These problems
included the reel for the pool covers breaking, several new leaks and
other minor repairs. There was a general discussion about insurance
coverage. Brad will follow up and report back to Bruce Whitley.
- New
Signage at the pool for Homeowner events. No progress. Discussion
scheduled for July.
- Landscaping:
In Jim CunnaneÕs absence, discussion was deferred to the July meeting.
- Street
Lights: Bruce Whitley agreed to look into the conditions for development
at the Soda Center to see if lights by the High School were included.
- New
directory for Homeowners and telephone numbers: Mike Dechenne and Brad
Ward are progressing this. When a draft is prepared, members agreed to
each review 1-2 pages for completeness and accuracy.
- Guest
rules for Pool use: The comprehensive draft document produced by Bruce
Whitley was reviewed and scaled back for use this season. Bruce will
issue a draft for review this week so that a final version can be issued
on June 16 and posted at the Pool. The Board ratified the swim team guest
program as a reasonable use of the CHOA facilities by members and exempted
such guest program from the Guest Rules
- Landscaping
of lots: Mike Dechenne commented that some lots were not well maintained.
He agreed to produce a list of homeowners who were potentially not
keeping lots in good order. The Board could then send letters to these
homeowners asking them to improve the appearance of their lot.
Bruce
Whitley closed the meeting at 9:05 pm
