- The
Board members formally agreed to their assigned roles and these were
approved.
- The
Board members approved their personal details and location of meetings as
prepared by Mike DeChenne.
- Bruce
Whitley asked Mike DeChenne to prepare a one-page sheet of meeting
locations as listed on the calendar.
- Discussion
of Operations and Financials was deferred to the April meeting
- Impact
of the use of the Campolindo High School Sports Field on Homeowners.
Jim
Cunnane reported that he had had a discussion with the High School Principal.
The Principal agreed to ask the Athletic Department to not use the PA system or
play music at practices and to ensure that lights are turned off after
practices end at about 9:30 pm. Bruce will send a follow up letter to confirm
these agreements. The Board agreed these actions.
- Signage
at the pool. The discussion on this was delayed until the April meeting.
- Newsletters.
Discussion delayed until the April meeting
- Swim
Team issues. Steve Bartis reported that the MTSC club will not close for
the 2007 swim season and so there is unlikely to be a flood of swimmers
wanting new clubs. In this situation, the Board asked Steve to notify the
Swim Team Board that the Homeowners Board agrees to the following:
- The
guest swimmer fee will be $100 per swimmer and that this is payable to
the Homeowners Board to help defray the extra cost of operating the
pools.
- The
limit of guest swimmers will be about 30 and the team size will be about
150 swimmers.
- The
Swim Team Board will develop a written plan for restricting and
monitoring the use of the pool by guest swimmers and their families
outside the use of swim team practices, coaching sessions and swim meets.
- This
plan should be e-mailed to Steve Bartis after the next Swim Team Board
meeting. It will be discussed at the next Homeowners Board Meeting on
April 9. If agreed, it will be approved to allow the Swim Team to
proceed with its plans.
- Pool
landscaping. The plan is now complete. Jim Cunnane will review it with
the designer and Jim will present this, and the next actions needed, at
the April Board Meeting
- Land
use at Campolindo High School. Irene Gessling reported that there is a
committee chaired by Chris Learned that is looking into use of spare land
owned by the School District. Irene will attend the first meeting on
March 15 and will report back at the April meeting. If an urgent issue
comes up, Irene will alert Bruce Whitley immediately after the March 15
meeting.
- Michael
Dechenne prepared a list of issues raised at the General Meeting. Bruce
will add to this list and raise a few of the items at each meeting
- Richard
Hemingway and Michael Dechenne produced an informational note on roofing
materials. This will be sent to Board Members and discussed at the April
Meeting. If approved, it will be posted on the web site for information
only.
Bruce Whitley closed the
meeting at 8:45 pm
