Minutes
Bruce Whitley called the
meeting to order at 7:35 pm.
- The
minutes for the January meeting were approved.
- The
new members were formally approved and welcomed. Bruce also thanked the
retiring members for their service over the past 3 years.
- The
date for the next General Meeting was establish for Jan 29, 2008.
- The
retiring members left the meeting. Jim Sauerberg agreed to remain as
webmaster.
- Bruce
asked Michael Dechenne to prepare a list of the new Board members with
their contact details and a list of meeting dates and locations.
- Chris
Anderson was invited to address the meeting with his concerns about
activities on and noise from the Campolindo sports field. Chris commented
that often lights were left on overnight. There was excessive noise from
the many people using the field and from the loud music played. The field
was now heavily booked by outside groups and this was having a dramatic
impact on houses close to the field. Bruce Whitley promised that the
Board would look into this for the next meeting.
- Brad
Ward passed out the latest financials. All except 27 Homeowners have paid
their dues. Brad will follow up.
- Signage
at the pool. The discussion on this was delayed until the March meeting.
- Newsletters.

- Swim
Team issues. Discussion delayed until the March meeting.
- Pool
landscaping. Discussion delayed until March meeting
- Bruce
asked that the issues raised at the general meeting be divided into 8
segments so that they could be dealt with throughout the year. Michael
Dechenne will prepare a list of the segments.
- Land
use. Bruce asked Irene Gessling to look into the proposed use of the land
by the school.
- Mike
Dechenne offered to talk with the School Superintendent about the noise
concerns from the school.
- The
use of solar panels in the community was briefly discussed. The Board
decided to take no action on coordinating a community effort to buy these
at a discount.
- Roofing:
Michael Dechenne discussed roof materials and commented that lightweight
steel roofing was available. Richard Hemingway and Michael Dechenne
agreed to produce a short note on this for the next meeting.
- Bruce
asked Jim Cunnane to follow up on Chris AndersonŐs complaints for the
March meeting. Bruce will also do some investigation.
Bruce Whitley closed the
meeting at 8:45 pm
