  1. The minutes for the January meeting were approved.
  2. The new members were formally approved and welcomed. Bruce also thanked the retiring members for their service over the past 3 years.
  3. The date for the next General Meeting was establish for Jan 29, 2008.
  4. The retiring members left the meeting. Jim Sauerberg agreed to remain as webmaster.
  5. Bruce asked Michael Dechenne to prepare a list of the new Board members with their contact details and a list of meeting dates and locations.
  6. Chris Anderson was invited to address the meeting with his concerns about activities on and noise from the Campolindo sports field. Chris commented that often lights were left on overnight. There was excessive noise from the many people using the field and from the loud music played. The field was now heavily booked by outside groups and this was having a dramatic impact on houses close to the field. Bruce Whitley promised that the Board would look into this for the next meeting.
  7. Brad Ward passed out the latest financials. All except 27 Homeowners have paid their dues. Brad will follow up.
  8. Signage at the pool. The discussion on this was delayed until the March meeting.
  9. Newsletters. Discussion delayed until the March meeting
  10. Swim Team issues. Discussion delayed until the March meeting.
  11. Pool landscaping. Discussion delayed until March meeting
  12. Bruce asked that the issues raised at the general meeting be divided into 8 segments so that they could be dealt with throughout the year. Michael Dechenne will prepare a list of the segments.
  13. Land use. Bruce asked Irene Gessling to look into the proposed use of the land by the school.
  14. Mike Dechenne offered to talk with the School Superintendent about the noise concerns from the school.
  15. The use of solar panels in the community was briefly discussed. The Board decided to take no action on coordinating a community effort to buy these at a discount.
  16. Roofing: Michael Dechenne discussed roof materials and commented that lightweight steel roofing was available. Richard Hemingway and Michael Dechenne agreed to produce a short note on this for the next meeting.
  17. Bruce asked Jim Cunnane to follow up on Chris AndersonŐs complaints for the March meeting. Bruce will also do some investigation.
