Minutes
Bruce Whitley called the
meeting to order at 7:30 pm and the minutes for the March meeting were unanimously
approved.
- Brad
reviewed the financial position.
All except one homeowner has paid the first half year dues. The drainage
at the pool has been installed. Brad has also ordered new wood chips for
the pool play area. These will be delivered on Friday April 14. Brad
agreed to send an email to get volunteers to help move the chippings.
Brad also reported that Nick Wood plus some scouts have agreed to build a
new shed for storage of the swim team pool equipment. Brad reported that
the pool clean up day will be April 23 and that the pool will open on May
1. Lisa Duncan agreed to prepare flyers for the Clean up Day, the pool
opening and for a Pot Luck for homeowners on May 20.
- Landscaping
upgrades. Funds will be put in
the budget for a master plan in 2007. The meeting unanimously agreed $500
in 2006 for improvements to the external planting. Jim Cunnane will purchase
plants to be planted on the Clean up day.
- Social
calendar. Lisa Duncan agreed to
work with Nazzi for the Pot luck, The Labor Day picnic and the Halloween
stands. A budget of $1500 was agreed for these events.
- Web
site. Jim Sauerberg has taken
over the web site and has made some improvements
- Non-compliant
fence on Paseo Grande Bruce
Whitley reported that the homeowners will have to get a waiver from the
Town. It is important to note that fences should not be erected within 15
feet from the edge of the sidewalk.

Calle La Montana Action about
the house will be discussed at the Town meeting on April 12. Bruce
Whitley will be present.
- Pool
rules Discussion was delayed
until the May meeting
- Neighborhood
Watch. Jim Cunnane reported
that the Town had no budget to establish a neighborhood watch. However
Jim has several tips that will be reported in the next newsletter.
- Fire
hazard. Maintenance of privately
owned landscape is the responsibility of each homeowner. The Moraga fire
department is responsible for enforcement. The Homeowners Board is not
involved.
- Community
flag pole. This will be considered
in the landscaping master plan in 2007.
- Skateboarding. Jim Cunnane will call the police for advice.
Discussion was deferred until the May meeting.
